Toddlers are eager to explore the world and others around them! These classes are for parents/caregivers & their 24-36 month old children. To meet community needs, we offer two options: Tuesdays & Fridays, 9:30 - 11:15 am.

Our Circle of Parenting class is for adults & children from pregnancy through 12 months. This class allows ongoing/drop-in enrollment throughout the session with sliding scale available. We'd love you to refer any expectant parents/caregivers to join!

Abriendo Puertas es el primer programa íntegro de capacitación en la nación que es respaldado por evidencias y fue desarrollado por y para padres latinos con niños de 0-5.

Lo utiliza el enfoque de educación popular para involucrar a los padres en lecciones que reflejan el contenido cultural, la música, los juegos y los dichos familiares.

Sesión híbrida de 10 semanas: 6 en persona en Oak View y 4 en Zoom, en español.

It’s world breastfeeding week! Thank you to Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County for spotlighting our services & resources!

World Breastfeeding Week - August 5th
✨Secure Beginnings✨

Secure Beginnings Breastfeeding CareLine is part of their comprehensive services for families with infants and toddlers. Programs are free or sliding scale to ensure access for all. Their services include:
Breastfeeding/First Feeding Care Line: Free phone consultations on feeding and weaning, with referrals as needed.
Circle of Parenting group for expectant and new parents/caregivers, offers feeding guidance, peer support, and child development education in a nurturing setting.
1:1 Parent/Caregiver Consultations: Personalized support around parenting, bonding, and feeding challenges—offered bilingually. Offered in English and Spanish, support families through both everyday and unique parenting challenges— including infant feeding and strengthening the parent-child bond.
Counseling: Free therapeutic phone consultation with a licensed therapist for pregnancy/postpartum and early parenting needs.
Park Days: Weekly drop-in for expectant/young families with facilitator/peer support, resources and referrals, ending with a group story/song time from Secure Beginnings’ cultivated song and story library.

A través de juegos, historias y conversaciones en español entre familias, este programa ofrece apoyo real, práctico y emocional para criar con presencia y confianza.

Parenting young children takes stamina and resilience. Even with these essential ingredients, young children can tug on our capacity to understand and feel effective.

Our 1:1 Parent Consultations are offered in both Spanish and English, on a sliding scale. Parent Consultants listen and provide practical support to help you navigate your child's behavior, family and life events, and expand your parenting tools with compassion. We’re here to support you in understanding your child with confidence and connection.

It's June! This month's Diaper Bank dates are June 4 & 18 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at the back of the Ojai Unified School District office 413 E. Aliso Street, Ojai. Diapers are available to all families who reside in Ventura County.

¡Es junio Las fechas del Banco de Pañales Gratis de esta mes son el 4 y el 18 de junio a las 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. en la parte trasera de la oficina del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Ojai 413 E.
