After graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport Iowa, Dr. Mike, wife Carolyn and 3 boys put down roots in Oakdale PA. Located 10-15 minutes from Robinson, Greentree, McDonald, Imperial and Bridgeville, Clarkin Chiropractic has proudly served Western Pittsburgh for over 16 years. We focus on the prevention, diagnosis and conservative care of spine-related disorders and other painful joint issues. In addition to adjustments, we also provide soft-tissue therapies, lifestyle recommendations, fitness coaching and nutritional advice. Accidents, falls, stress or overexertion can negatively impact your spine or other joints. These changes impact tissues, the nervous system and other areas of the body. Left unresolved, this can make you more susceptible to chronic problems. Chiropractic adjustments reduce pain, increase movement and improve performance. Clarkin Chiropractic practices the Diversified Technique - This technique is the most commonly used of all chiropractic techniques and is the one probably most familiar to patients. The Diversified adjustment entails a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust that results in a cavitation of a joint (Pop/crack). We have plenty of off street parking and are ADA accessible. Walk in's always welcome and call for urgent appointments.
