June 23, 2025
It is with great respect and a renewed sense of purpose that we announce the reopening of White Oaks Funeral Home. Over the years, we have been privileged to serve our community and surrounding communities during some of its most difficult times, and our commitment to offering compassionate, professional care still remains steadfast.
While reflecting on the days we were out of the public’s eye, we experienced a profound and eye awakening journey. Our flesh wanted to be angry, but that was not the road that God wanted us to focus on. God wants not just us, but all to go through valleys in our lives so that we learn, grow and draw closer to Him. How can we ever gain God’s grace and mercy, if we aren’t willing to do the same. This experience has definitely been a blessing in the thorn of life.
We have taken a long look at our daily and spiritual lives and have gained great insight into being humble, yet steadfast. During this trial, we have meaningfully and whole heartedly took a long look as to what meaning our lives have had in the world regarding our impact as Christians, also known as “saved sinners”. We are all covered in flesh and struggle daily. We saw where our walk with God needed some re-evaluating. We were letting the things of this world become obstacles and distractions with regards to our personal walk with God.
As hard as it was, our days away from the funeral home, allowed us to re-evaluate our identity and purpose of this, “our ministry” that God Himself set before us. God has worked through this trial with us and has turned it back into the blessing that He intended it to be many years ago. This valley enabled us to STOP, LOOK, BE STILL, & LISTEN to GOD and HIS plan for us and our future.
We, at White Oaks, pride ourselves on being more than a service provider, we are part of the fabric of this community and others, sharing in its joys and sorrows. As always, we will continue to provide a serene and welcoming environment, where families can find solace and support as they honor their loved ones. We will continue to ensure that every detail reflects our dedication to creating meaningful and respectful services.
We are honored to continue this journey with you and remain committed to supporting you, our families, when it matters most. We look forward to serving you with the same “Compassionate Difference” and excellence that have been the cornerstone of our mission, and our ministry.
