In 2024 two of Sanford Health Oakes Clinic's nurses, Brianna Thielges, RN, and Karlie Sitzler, RN, attended schooling to obtain their Certified Lactation Counselor certificate (CLC). Along with this, they were able to get a grant from BCBS of ND and from ND Health and Human Services to help create a special place for mothers to utilize while breastfeeding. We are happy to announce that the Sanford Oakes Clinic is officially an infant-friendly workplace. Breastfeeding is welcome here!
