Yesterday was something special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Navigating Parkinson’s: Community Resource Event. It was incredible to see our community come together to connect, learn, and support one another.

We are so grateful to the individuals, families, and caregivers who took the time to be there - and to the dedicated organizations and professionals who continue to make a meaningful impact in the Parkinson’s community every day.

Founded by licensed occupational and physical therapists, their team is dedicated to helping individuals remain safely and comfortably in their homes despite the challenges they may face. They provide home safety and accessibility assessments and offer solutions such as stair lifts, ramps, grab bars, stair rails, bathroom modifications, adjustable beds, and ceiling lifts.

Last but certainly not least, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with Rock Steady Boxing Monmouth and Ocean Counties at our Navigating Parkinson’s: Community Resource Event! This non-contact, Parkinson’s-specific exercise program uses boxing-inspired training- such as footwork, punching, and balance exercises- to help individuals manage symptoms and stay active. Their local program offers one-on-one sessions in the comfort of your home, led by doctorate-level neurological physical therapists, with all necessary equipment provided for each session.
