Lois is a survivor of the 2005 Newburgh Trailer Park Tornado. She shares about the night the tornado came. She was in bed when all of a sudden, her bed began to move all the way blocking her bedroom door. She woke up near a lake, she said was roughly three times the length of a football field away from where her trailer once sat.

Lois talks about being under some debris and how a young gentleman was looking for his family when he found her. He got help for Lois, and she never forgot his kindness.

During her month-long in the hospital recovering from broken bones and injuries, Governor Mitch Daniels visited. He prayed with her and gave her a kiss on her forehead. She was in disbelief that he would come to see her! She says the whole tornado experience made her appreciate life in a whole new way. She was thankful God saved her that night.
