🙏🏿Jesus be a fence. All the people in this picture, even the baby are unalived; all due to someone not knowing how to handle a divorce and his emotions took over, and his brain went off line. The reason we have the men's group at my facility Healthy Minds Therapeutic Services, LLC is for men to talk it out with other men and get the help they need in order to be able to work through their emotions that causes the mind to do things they really don't want to do. That group is led by Pastor Lionel Nelson and he's been doing a fantastic job with the men. You should see their faces after a aha moment. Some are divorcing and others are working through their personal life struggles just being a man.

8 people didn't have to lose their life at the hands of someone having a mental health crisis.

If you are struggling with your mental health or life is just getting to be a bit much, walk, drive, cath the bus, whatever you need to do and get to Healthy Minds or visit our website at Www.myhealthymind.me

Here are 5 precise, high-impact steps to living a healthier life—no fluff, just what actually moves the needle:

1. Control Your Inputs (Food & Drink)
Prioritize whole foods: lean proteins, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and healthy fats.
Eliminate or minimize processed foods, sugary drinks, and excess sodium.
Rule of thumb: If it has a long ingredient list, question it.

2. Move Your Body Daily
You don’t need a complex routine—just consistency.
Aim for:
30 minutes of walking, OR
Strength training 3–4x/week, OR
Activities like dancing, swimming, cycling
Consistency > intensity.

3. Sleep Like It’s Non-Negotiable
7–9 hours per night is critical. Poor sleep disrupts hormones, mood, and weight.
Keep a consistent bedtime
Limit screen time before bed
Create a calm sleep environment.

4. Manage Stress Proactively
Chronic stress will quietly destroy your health.
Build simple habits:
Deep breathing (2–5 minutes)
Quiet time / prayer / meditation
Time at the beach, nature, or with loved ones.

5. Stay Consistent, Not Perfect
Health is not about extremes—it’s about repeatable habits.
Don’t “start over” after a bad day. Focus on progress, not perfection. Build routines you can sustain long-term.

🚩🚩I forgot it was spring break weekend. Ya'll please pray over your children these last few days of spring break. I usually allow my children to attend Xtreme Action park with friends on weekends, but this weekend it was nothing I've ever seen before.

Officer: Id's please
Me: absolutely 💯
Officer: how many are with you over 18?
Me: 1...I had 6 teenagers with me, but one 18yr old.
Officer:After 8:30 we cannot allow anyone in, even with an adult and 18.

Me: you talked to me for 2min, is this something you're making up?

Officer: No, we just got word, I can't let you in, nor all these people behind you.

The kids visibly upset 😡

Me: listen guys, sometimes this is God's protection. Maybe next time.

This place was so packed, i'm surprised the fire Marshall didn't show to shut it down. I didn't feel right leaving them if I could.

I get home, my daughter tells me: oh, yeah mom ninjas 🥷 from Miami, Ft.Lauderdale, and Lauderhill were there to start some stuff, and the last time you let us go they were 🔫 🔫outside and cops were everywhere.

Me: WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT?????

I'm leaving from the place, and the stench of Ma*****na filled the air, kids smoking, drinking and not hiding because I'm not their parent🤷🏾‍♀️. Its scary, but here we are. No judgment, but ya'll pray for your kids. Remember we were once their age. Peer pressure is a real thing. Hanging with the wrong crowd will get you messed up. I know, because I use to be the wrong crowd. Thank God for sparing my life and for a praying grandmother.

If you need any assistance with your children and it's a first offense please do not hesitate to reach out to Healthy Minds Therapeutic Services, LLC

We work with the courts and administer drug and alcohol evaluations, random drug testing, psychoeducational groups, substance use prevention and so much more.

I hope I do not see you, but if I do, no judgement, just compassion and care. 👌🏿
