Honoring Black History Month

We honor Stormé DeLarverie — a Black, biracial butch le***an whose courage helped spark the Stonewall uprising.

Stormé was a drag king, performer, and lifelong protector of the LGBTQ+ community. When resisting arrest in 1969, Stormé called on others to act. Stormé helped ignite a movement that changed history.

This legacy reminds us that living authentically and protecting one another is powerful.

We honor Stormé— and all Black LGBTQ+ pioneers — this month and always. 🖤🏳️‍🌈
