Once again we are collecting Christmas cards for Operation Christmas Card to spread some joy to those in local nursing homes this holiday season. If you would like to participate, fill out Christmas cards with a short message and drop them off in the box in the lobby at GOPT, among many other local businesses. Please have cards dropped off before December 14th, so there is time to distribute.

GOPT has an immediate opening for an Office Assistant. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detailed person with excellent communication and organizational skills. This position will require scheduling patients, answering phones, patient interaction, creating patient accounts, insurance verification/benefits, and miscellaneous office tasks. Typing and basic computer skills required. However, we will train an outstanding person for this position. GOPT is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Last weekend, several GOPT employees had the honor to volunteer for the ASF Garrett County walk to raise funds for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation and support local children. Thank you Sarah, Amanda, and Holly for all your efforts.
