We had an egg-cellent time at our Easter Social today! 🐣🌷

Garrett County Lighthouse, Inc. service users enjoyed cupcakes, cookies, punch, Mario Kart, an axe throwing yard game, and our fun “Pass the Peep” and "Puffy Peep Cheeks" games. The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great conversation. It was wonderful to see everyone socializing, supporting one another, and simply enjoying time together.

Moments like these help build connection, confidence, and positive memories. 💛 Happy Easter from all of us at the Wellness and Recovery Center!

Today during our Creative Therapy group, service users created colorful tissue paper flowers to add to the decoupage vases that staff prepared last week. They enjoyed choosing colors, shaping their flowers, and expressing their creativity in a relaxed and social environment. Activities like this encourage creativity, confidence, and connection while giving everyone something unique and beautiful to feel proud of 🌸

As the time is getting closer to May, we are looking for donations for a raffle for our Color Run for Children’s Mental Health. All proceeds goes right back into our CAYA program to be able to do fun activities with our kids. Join us for the 3rd Annual Color Run for Children’s Mental Health on May 16th! We’re heading to The Glades from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for an afternoon of bouncy houses, raffles, movement, and vibrant fun.
Whether you run, walk, or dance your way through the course, every splash of color helps shine a light on the importance of youth mental wellness. It’s more than just a race—it’s about showing our kids that they have a community that supports them.
