The Garrett County Lighthouse, Inc. "Lighthouse Lights the Stage" talent show today was a huge hit! Laughter, music, and plenty of applause filled the room for each act. Every performer brought their unique spark, and our nursing student visitors from Allegheny College in our audience cheered right along with us.

Congratulations to our winners, and a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated and supported these talented folks today! 💡🎤🎶

Look at this awesome way you can help out our Child and Adolescent program! Please share!

The Child and Adolescent Program at Garrett County Lighthouse, Inc. (GLCH) is excited to participate in this year's Festival of Trees by creating a special Christmas tree that represents all 50 states — and we need your help!

We are collecting ornaments from every U.S. state to decorate our tree, which will be donated and auctioned off at the festival. Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the Dove Center, an organization that provides safety, advocacy, and counseling to individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. The Dove Center also plays a vital role in expanding public awareness and education around these critical issues.

Your ornament donation is more than a decoration — it’s a symbol of hope, unity, and support for survivors in need.

The Garrett County Lighthouse, Inc. Wellness and Recovery Center spent the morning on a scavenger hunt full of teamwork, energy, and lots of laughs. Everyone gave it their best, and the competition was close!

In the end, Team B came out on top 🏆, but most importantly, everyone had a great time being TOGETHER! 💚

After two weeks of stringing beads, cutting tangled messes in half, and wondering why we thought this was a good idea… our beaded windchimes are DONE! They actually turned out really cool, and everyone pitched in to help.

The Wellness and Recovery Center brought the summer spirit to Garrett County Lighthouse, Inc. today with a planned visit from the Kona Ice truck. Service users were invited to enjoy a refreshing snow cone, take a break from their usual routine, and connect with peers in a relaxed and lighthearted environment. The event was more than just a sweet treat. It created space for community, conversation, and shared enjoyment. 🍧

Thank you to the Wellness and Recovery Center team for organizing this meaningful and refreshing afternoon and Kona Ice of Garrett & Allegany Counties for visiting us today! 🍧💚
