PSC is so grateful to have had the opportunity to assist at this year's Everybody Eats Festival. This is the second year PSC has provided janitorial and waste diversion services, and we are happy to report that everything went well! Festival organizers called PSC's team "TOP TIER" and praised how "on it" everyone was. Thank you for having PSC! We were so excited to see our community having a great time and ensuring the event was clean and welcoming for all!

PSC would like to recognize Silvia! Over the past year, Silvia has shown incredible dedication and a strong desire to learn and grow in her role as a janitor. Her commitment to expanding her skills has truly paid off - we're thrilled to share that she has secured a new opportunity with a maintenance company, opening exciting new doors for her future. Although her time with PSC is coming to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate this important milestone. Silvia's journey is a testament to what hard work and perseverance can achieve. Congratulations, Silvia - we're proud of you and can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

PSC would like to thank Electrify Expo for the opportunity to assist at the San Francisco expo for the third year in a row! This is one of the largest events PSC takes on each year, and we are happy to report that it was a huge success once again. This is a great opportunity for PSC staff to put their skills and training to the test regarding proper waste diversion and event janitorial services. We look forward to assisting again next year and giving a new cohort of staff the same opportunity!

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of one of our recent participants, James Turrentine, who has completed our transitional program!

James began his journey with PSC in April 2024 as part of our Environmental Literacy Re-Entry Cohort #1, where he demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to personal and professional development. After graduating from the cohort, he transitioned into PSC's transitional employment program, gaining valuable hands-on experience in janitorial maintenance. Throughout the year, we had the privilege of supporting his growth. His hard work and determination have paid off, and we are proud to share that he is now in the recruitment process with BART! Congratulations, James - Your journey has been inspiring, and we're excited to see all the great things you'll achieve next.

PSC is so excited to announce that we are officially green certified! PSC has spent the last several months strengthening our sustainable practices and switching over to eco-friendly janitorial supplies. We are proud to have completed the certification process and to have the ability to offer our clients a safer and healthier service! PSC is committed to maintaining the beauty and health of the Bay Area and this is a huge step in the right direction!

PSC would like to express our gratitude for our HIRE participants who graduated from the program and have now given their time to work alongside PSC staff to gain hands-on job training. PSC would also like to thank our clients who have agreed to give our participants opportunities to work at their locations. This training is a great way for them to gain experience and to pursue employment beyond PSC's program.
