Even though I’m a little late (busy mom life!), I want to wish a heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there.

I’m especially thinking of some of the amazing women in my life: my mom, my sister, my Mimi, and my beloved Nana Rose.

This Mother’s Day has felt a bit different. My Nana passed away just a week before the holiday. I’m so grateful to my kind and understanding clients who gave me the space to take the day off and visit her just a couple days before she passed. She was the true matriarch of our family—the heart of us all—and the inspiration behind the name of my business, Roots of Rose.

She will be deeply missed, but I’m honored to carry her legacy with me every day through the work that I love.🥀❤️🌹

Did you know movement and exercise can actually help reduce pain rather than cause more? Of course there are instances where this might not be the case, but for those with pain caused by tight, tense muscles and inflammation, a little bit of movement can go a long way! It doesn’t have to be anything crazy - something as simple as a short walk can do the trick. And if you have a doggo like myself, they’ll surely appreciate it too 🐾

Practicing gratitude is hard, so let me help with a little Monday Mantra thanks to my incredible new book, A Year of Positive Thinking by Cyndie Spiegel.

Success can look so different to each and every person. Today I feel successful because I get to do something I love in order to make a living. I also get to work around my family’s schedule, so I can be there for my two young boys whenever I need to, and that’s truly the biggest blessing of all.

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients who make this possible. I hope you can find some positivity on this beautiful Monday, and remember that success is what you make it! Celebrate the small wins, even if it’s simply some moments of self-care that you made time for. 🤗🌞
