Face masks are no longer required in the massage studio.

If you’d like to wear one, you are welcome to. If you don’t want to wear one, that’s also ok.

I'm back! The brand new indoor massage studio is now open! It's just a few blocks from the old location. It features a private entry and bathroom, reserved just for my clients. Online booking is open, link in first comment!

We're Moving! I'm excited!

A quirk of fate opened up a great massage space just as my lease was up at Mandana Blvd.

We are closed right now due to shut down. I expect to continue to offer outdoor massage when I first re-open, because my clients and I have really found our comfort zone there during covid. But when we are ready to move indoors, we'll have an amazing new space!

Alameda county recently jumped two levels in our Covid risk, from orange “Moderate” transmission to purple, “Widespread” transmission. Which has people wondering if it’s still safe to get a massage.

Short answer: Massage has been reclassified as a relatively low risk activity, based upon what's been learned about covid to date. Exciting news... We are Open! I've set up a cozy massage tent in my backyard, just a few blocks away from the massage studio. All my existing clients are eligible to get a massage in this location; no doctor’s prescription needed. Cannot wait to see you guys!

I've sewed over 700 face masks, and I suspect this is the last batch I'll do. Thus, I give you the "Beaker Bunsen." For Science!

Proceeds support the re-opening of the massage studio (still tbd but coming soon!), and also a portion goes to the Alameda County Food Bank.

Guess what I did when the air was smokey and I was stuck indoors? I sewed up the last fabric I had bought for face masks, of course!

"Science By The Numbers" is available online. Proceeds will help with the new equipment and supplies to re-open the massage studio. (Date tbd, coming soon!) And a portion also goes to the Alameda County Food Bank.
