When you practice Breema, you vitalize the recipient’s body by vitalizing yourself. If the recipient has some disorder, they can receive support to come into better order. Don’t try to work with the recipient’s disorder, because you can never really understand someone else’s body. It is the way it is for a reason. So don’t try to manipulate and change something you don’t understand. Just vitalize yourself. —from The Art of Being Present by Jon Schreiber

Self-Breema is transformational. When you raise your arms, it’s as though their emanation reaches all the way to the sky, to heaven. When you lower them, it’s as though you are moving the air down, all the way to the center of the Earth. So you are connected to both ends of the stick—totally to the Earth, and totally to Existence. By practicing Breema, we can become ready to experience this level of Self- Breema—where we receive and experience Consciousness, where everything, including the body, is transformed into Consciousness. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

When you’re doing Breema, you’re not just giving a treatment. You’re giving and receiving a treatment! Part of being responsible when you’re doing Breema is being open to life. When you’re open, you see that everything that happens can bring you to unity, to an inner connectedness to everything that exists. —from The Art of Being Present by Jon Schreiber

Work intelligently—that means be connected to yourself. Let your body work, supported by your mind and feelings. Your touch is an expression of your aliveness. When you’re free from judgment, from like and dislike, you have natural compassion. That connects you to the bigger picture. You know you are part of a greater whole that’s supporting you.— from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

Existence exists without force. The nature of Existence is to exist. So to not use force, you have to become natural. We are unnatural, because we jump from past to future, from future to past. And we lose the very essence of life. The essence of life is the present. The present has one foot in time, but its nature is Timeless. It’s an expression of the moment. In the moment, there is no force. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

In Breema, we say: “The emphasis is on the practitioner.” Why? Because there is no possibility for you to really know the recipient. You can never truly know what they think, what they feel, what their body needs. But, if you connect to yourself, instead of trying to figure out the recipient, you become present. When you are present, the recipient responds to your emanation, and an atmosphere of acceptance is created. Your emanation and the recipient’s emanation work together and move towards balance and harmony. It’s as though there is one body. —from The Art of Being Present by Jon Schreiber

Breema gives the body new possibilities to become less subject to our mechanical crystallizations, by changing the relationship of the parts to the systems they belong to. For example, your hand really becomes part of your arm, and your arm, part of your whole body. Breema helps the mind become connected to the body in a correct way. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber
