Happy 4th of July from Mercy Retirement and Care Center! 🎆
Today, we came together as a community to celebrate Independence Day with great food, laughter, and joyful moments. Residents, staff, and families enjoyed a classic backyard BBQ—complete with juicy ribs, grilled chicken, potato salad, and baked beans!
Thank you to our culinary and activities teams for making the day festive and delicious. We’re proud to honor the spirit of freedom, friendship, and community.

Mercy Staff Safety Fair was a big success! 🎉 Team members from all departments showed up to learn, engage, and prioritize safety in our community.

Recently, our residents and team members participated in a fun tie-dye session where they created colorful tote bags and shared smiles. This activity was part of our celebration for National Skilled Nursing Care Week, themed “Radiant Memories: A Tapestry of Life.”

The event was a joyful team effort that highlighted creativity and connection. A particularly memorable moment was when Lorenzo, a member of our physical therapy team, shared a childhood memory of tie-dyeing. His story sparked conversations and added a personal touch that the residents truly appreciated. Thanks to your support, meaningful moments like these continue to brighten our community.

We love working with Visiting Angels and are especially grateful to Diane Tran, whose roots here at Mercy Retirement continue to inspire us. Diane’s compassionate heart touched many during her time with us, and her ongoing work with Visiting Angels brings that same spirit of care to even more lives.
