It is an honor to recognize one of our own—Samantha has been selected to compete in the 4-Day C**t Starting Challenge at the Southern Equine Expo!

Samantha is an outstanding employee in the lab, consistently demonstrating dedication, skill, and professionalism in everything she does. Beyond her work here, she has a true passion for horsemanship that shines just as brightly outside the lab.

Weather Update:

While we escaped heavier snowfall, we received approximately 3.5” of snow, followed by rain and freezing rain/sleet resulting in 0.25–0.5” of ice. Although the worst has passed, temperatures are expected to remain well below freezing for the next week, so conditions will stay icy.

I was able to make it into the lab today and pick up mail. FedEx and UPS were closed today and may remain closed for several days due to additional ice in Memphis, Nashville, and Louisville. If you have shipped samples, please check tracking.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those without power and those affected more severely by the winter storm.

I will continue coming in as road conditions allow. Thank you for your patience as we navigate these conditions while caring for our own livestock as well.

UPDATE: We are in the lab and operating as normal!

We have been very blessed to have many calls, texts and e-mails from around the US to check on us, and we greatly appreciate it more than you know!

In the early morning hours of December 11th, our town took a devastating hit from a tornado. There have been more than 100 businesses demolished or heavily damaged, 500 homes destroyed, numerous lives lost and numerous still unaccounted for. This has been declared the worst in Kentucky history and possibly the longest running in American history. We are beyond blessed all of us at DLT are all still here and accounted for with no huge personal/property damage. Our neighbors are not so lucky.
Please be patient with us this upcoming week. It could be days before we have power and delivery services running semi-normally. We will do our best to take care of samples and get things shipped out, however there will more than likely be delays beyond our control.
Thank you to all that have reached out to check on us, it means more than you know! Please pray for our town and those who have lost everything they have and loved ones. There are more towns than just ours affected and our thoughts and prayers are with you all as well!

🚨DISCOUNT BELOW🚨

We have had numerous clients inquiring on Johnes testing recently. We have decided to offer an end-of-the-year discount for Johnes testing during the month of December. These samples will be ran and reported twice during the month on December 16th and again on December 30th. The discounted rate will be $5.00 per head!! There will be no minimum or maximum sample number required. This would be a great time to screen your herd as we prepare for a new year! (NOTE: Any samples needing results faster will be processed as normal without discounted rates.)
