Is it normal to be sore after a massage??? YES!!!
Soreness after a massage stems from the release of tension in the muscles which can loose toxins, increased circulation, and micro-tears in the muscle fibers. It’s a lot similar to what you experience during and after a workout. These scenarios are all safe and commonly experienced. Just make sure to drink LOTS of water and rest after your massage to allow your body to process the work in a healthy way.
