Life in 2025 so far. The first part of this year has been rough, and yet still filled with joy and love and friendship. I moved out of a toxic living situation. I had to say goodbye to both of my sweet senior pups 💔 I sprained my ankle. I celebrated dear friend’s 40th bdays. Started working with a new client. I went snowboarding in CO. I taught some Ayurvedic workshops. I visited my bff in Brooklyn and met all her people and ate all the things. Life is unfolding exactly as it needs to and I’m practicing compassion and grace when uncomfortable feelings arise and trauma responses want to be in the driver’s seat. Life be life’n.

1. With some new plant babies
2. Moved into my own place. Solo living.
3. Nourishing bone broth
4. Goodbye my lil Poki mama
5. Ayurvedic workshop attendees making their spice blends
6. Kale’a’s last big outdoor adventure
7. Oracle card from Rewilding The Spirit women’s gathering
8. In bff’s adorable BK apt
9. Goat tongue and giggles

Autumn is a time in our lives when we gather the fruits of our efforts, reflect, and prepare for what’s next. Just as plants release their seeds, ensuring future growth, we also shed what no longer serves us, consolidate our experiences, and plant intentions for new beginnings. It’s a season of letting go, reflection, and preparing for regeneration, reminding us that endings are natural cycles that hold the promise of new growth. To honor and deepen into this time of transition Ann Thu and I will be facilitating balancing breathwork (nadi shodhana), grounded yoga flows (vinyasa), and a restorative wind down with yoga nidra (aka non-sleep deep rest or yogic sleep). The goal: Inner Harmony. The theme: Balance. Looking forward to co-creating this container for you.

Summer is in full swing, the weather is heating up, and the hydrating/cooling produce are popping off (cucumbers, summer squash, melons, cilantro). Gathered with friends to enjoy a summer backyard dinner. I LOVE sweet white corn from Brentwood and when it’s at the market I’m all about it! So naturally bought a bunch of ears and made a raw corn salad with tons of other veggies so that we could Lots of other delish summertime favorites were on the table! From an Ayurvedic perspective corn is balancing for Kapha and in excess can be aggravating for Vata and Pitta. The rasa: sweet and astringent, virya: heating, and vipaka: sweet and pungent. Enjoy with cooling foods/herbs/spices during summertime: lime juice, cumin, coriander, fennel, cilantro leaves, sunflower seeds, and/or pumpkin seeds. I dressed mine with a simple dressing of lime juice, olive oil, and cumin then topped it with sprouted pumpkin seeds.

Ironically, in summer (when it’s particularly hot) our digestion is actually weaker because the blood is rushing away from our center (digestive organs) and to our skin to help us sweat and release internal heat. So be mindful of eating a ton of raw foods if you’re already struggling with bloat, gas, constipation, anxiety, or overwhelm (signs of Vata imbalance). What will help? Try using spices in a dressing, chewing on fennel after a meal, drinking CCFT (cumin, coriander, fennel, tulsi tea—DM to purchase), and really, you should just cook your veggies if you’re struggling with those symptoms.

Curious how else to improve those symptoms? Schedule a free 30min discovery call with me, head to www.bonjourbellie.com/contact

NOURISH YOUR SKIN & SOUL, A UNIQUE SELF-CARE EXPERIENCE CREATED TO REFRESH YOUR MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT.

I'm excited to share this sweet event I'm co-creating with a dear friend happening next Friday, March 8th from 7-9pm at a private residence in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood in Oakland, CA. I'd like to invite you to take time to slow down and care for you mind, body, and spirit through plant-based herbal facials, yoga nidra (like a guided meditation done lying down to drop even deeper into a state of bliss), and warm oil self massage on the face and feet [with guidance on stimulating specific marma points (vital life-energy points)]. We will also be serving Golden Bliss, a warm turmeric spiced tonic, and some nourishing small bites afterwards. The perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the week and learn some practices that help to ground your nervous system, calm anxiety, and prime you for restful sleep.

I, Chantal, BSc, CNC (she/her), am a Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Yoga Nidra Facilitator, and Holistic Nutrition Consultant. I love sharing all the awesome things that light me up and have also helped me ease my busy mind and go-go-go mentality. You can see what I'm up to and connect with me on IG

Are you on the micr0d0sing shr👀m train? Or maybe it’s festival season and you’re ready to party! Perhaps a little gummy helps you get to bed every night.

Whether you use cānnabis to unwind, psi1ocybin for focus and flow, L$D for creativity, MDMÂ for trauma recovery, or any other entheogen/psychedelic substance you might just be draining yourself of the necessary nutrients to experience all of those benefits. Using these different substances requires different vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients from our brain and body in order to produce the desired effects.

How do we stock up on and replenish these nutrients? Through food! What we eat directly impacts our physical, mental and emotional health.

Come learn about how you can use nutrition as a means to prepare your body at a cellular level in order to prevent feeling low and depleted after working with substances.

I’ve been wanting to offer this workshop for a while because I truly believe food is medicine and I also believe in a sweet balance of letting loose with psychedelics but also taking great care of myself. This is for everyone and anyone curious, whether you use any substances regularly, occasionally, or haven’t ever explored them before. This class is offered for FREE in partnership with It will be in-person and online via Zoom. Please register via Eventbrite.

Winter is described as that time when the earth is tilting away from the sun, making the environment more cold and dark.

Without the drying heat of bright sun winter starts out with more moisture. Something else to consider these days, however, is the climate indoors. If a place is cold enough to require heaters inside, this heat is going to dry the air. If a lot of time is spent indoors in winter, dryness will result, especially in the respiratory channels.

If you don’t get enough good fats in winter time, you
may begin to notice dry stool or dry skin.

Analysis paralysis: having so many thoughts swirl around your mind, weighing all the pros and cons, thinking about the impacts of your choices, not being able to land anywhere and then eventually giving up on making a choice and being exactly where you started. This is my main struggle bus. Choices feel hard a lot of the times for me. Overwhelming even. Like, can you just choose because I can’t decide and I’m over here drowning in all of the options.
Some things that help calm my mind when it starts spinning like this is to get outside and be in nature. But I can’t always get outside and be surrounded by nature, so I need more resources for grounding and calming my nervous system. I like pranayama (controlled breathing patterns), meditation, abhyanga (warm self-oil massage), and making a mug of Golden Bliss (turmeric milk).
Join me this Saturday and learn how to do some specific breathing techniques, best oils for abhyanga, an easy mantra for meditation, journaling prompts and I’ll also be sharing an easy grounding snack to enjoy! This class will be in-person so you can munch on a delicious snack and practice all of the techniques with me, and is presented in partnership with Link in bio to register.
What are your favorite resources to help ground and calm your mind?

Virtual on Zoom and in partnership with You gotta register for the Zoom link, link in bio. Please note: Each date has a different registration and Zoom link so you need to register for each one, and if that’s annoying to you then Yoga Nidra this Friday will be perfect 😂 see you then!
