How We Do It
Every day, in communities throughout our region, Lincoln Families is providing real solutions to the unique issues our children, youth and families face. At Lincoln, we go where children and youth are, helping them to develop skills to stay at home and in school. Teams of skilled and diverse staff work together with youth and families to utilize their strengths and build a plan for success. With this critical support, our children, youth and families thrive and build bold futures. Only Lincoln Families has a culturally relevant, adaptive approach that meets the needs of children and families. Our multi-generational model sets a new standard of support that changes lives.

July is Minority Mental Health Month—a time to raise awareness about the unique mental health challenges faced by BIPOC communities. At Lincoln Families, we recognize that systemic inequities, stigma, and lack of access continue to impact mental wellness. It’s also a time to listen, amplify underrepresented voices, and advocate for real, lasting change in how mental health care is delivered.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth — a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for equity.
Let this day be a moment of reflection, education, and celebration as we honor Black history, culture, and the enduring pursuit of justice. Juneteenth is more than a celebration — it’s a call to action.
✨ Honor the past. 📚 Educate yourself. 🤝 Support Black communities. ❤️ Commit to justice every day.

Happy Pride Month! This month—and every month—we honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of our LGBTQIA+ community. In the face of ongoing challenges, now more than ever, we need community, connection, and support to stand together with those advocating for the right to live openly and authentically. This year’s San Francisco Pride theme, “Queer Joy is Resistance,” reminds us that joy and celebration are powerful acts of resilience and activism.🌈
