Now announcing our Community Partner Award honoree: East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC)!

The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) is an East Bay-based organization dedicated to advancing racial, gender, and economic equity by providing expert and holistic legal services to low-income Alameda County communities at no cost. For nearly 40 years, they have fought for justice and dignity for historically excluded East Bay communities, providing essential legal services to households that would otherwise go without. As one of the largest legal advocacy organizations serving communities of color in the Bay Area, EBCLC delivers over 5,000 services to nearly 4,000 clients every year.

We are honored to recognize this organization and the incredible work they do for our shared communities, and for being an incredible partner to AHS’s Project DULCE program.

A heartfelt thank you to all who came together to make Hope for the Holidays happen – through contributions, sharing our social media posts, passing out flyers, and lending time and care to support Alameda Health System patient families in need.

Every one of the 143 AHS patient families who were referred to the program felt care, warmth, and hope during challenging times. Thank you for making moments of hope possible for those who need it!

A special thank you to everyone who contributed to our holiday book drive for AHS pediatric and pediatric dentistry patients! Your generosity helped us collect 483 books (and growing!) that will be delivered soon!
The books promote literacy, help our youngest patients to feel excited about visits, and build and strengthen doctor-patient relationships. You helped us exceed our goal of 225 books, and we are grateful!

Sixteen-year-old Ramon hadn’t given much thought to what it might be like to become a doctor or a nurse.

But that changed when he was introduced to Alameda Health System's HealthPATH Health Excellence & Academic Leadership (HEAL) internship at his high school.

Ramon gained first-hand experience in a hospital setting, even getting to witness two surgeries, and it shifted his entire outlook on the future.
