We were super excited to be part of the social event Pickitup in Oakland Chinatown last Sunday (8/14), as we work along side with Asian Pacific American Advocates. Our community volunteers cleared trash, illegal dumping, and graffiti abatement in the Oakland Chinatown neighborhood together.

We are truly thankful for everyone that came out to support!

Earth Day falls on April 22 each year! In honor of Earth Day of 2022, our staff have come together to collect litter and abandoned debris to help the City of Hayward Clean and Green.

As part of our home health services, one of the disciplines that is offered includes physical therapy. Our physical therapists can assist patients with performing in-home exercises and prescribe home exercise programs to help patients return to their prior level of function or improve upon any physical limitations.

Asian Network is saddened by the rising hate crimes against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Organizations including Stop AAPI Hate, Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, Covid Tracking Project, among others have reported a disturbing spike in unprovoked attacks and assaults on the AAPI community since the outbreak of the pandemic.

As we write this message, we are still reeling from the deadly shooting in Atlanta that occurred this past week. Our hearts, prayers, and thoughts are with those who have been impacted by the shooting and those who continue to live in fear of anti-Asian sentiment.

Asian Network will continue to combat prejudice and stand in solidarity with the AAPI community. Please know that we support you and are here for you during this difficult time. We remain your partners in health and wellness.
