We are internationally trained non-physician osteopaths offering holistic manual therapy for people of all ages in the East Bay of San Francisco.

We specialise in care for the whole family including pregnancy, postpartum and paediatric care. At Nourish Osteo we intend to serve all of you, supporting and nurturing you on your journey towards optimal health and enhanced well-being. We are internationally trained osteopaths practicing osteopathic manual therapy. No matter what your dis-ease or dysfunction is, we apply traditional osteopathic p

rinciples, using our hands to bring the body back into relationship with its inherent ability to heal. We have offices in Albany & Oakland. We also offer home visits for new families and people that find it difficult to get into the clinic.

Many years ago, in 2005 when I was in second year university in Australia as a Osteopathic student, I dreamed of creating a multidisciplinary clinic where entire families could come to one location and have their healing needs met. A place where a variety of services would be offered under one roof making it more easily accessible, deeply trusted, and provided by aligned practitioners who could truly collaborate in caring for each individual and family.

What is unfolding before your eyes is a visioning that has taken two decades to create in a country far from where the dream first began, but it is happening, for you. A single healing home where you can feel truly cared for, deeply listened to and supported on your healing journey.

Acupuncture will be available in Oakland starting mid June! We are so excited to be partnering with Mitchell Family Acupuncture as they bring Acupuncture and Functional Medicine to our Oakland location. MFA will offer three days of acupuncture and deep Chinese medicine available for YOU!

Your caregivers will be Dr. Britt Peterson and Sheila Shahmirza, L.Ac. Work with these brilliant acupuncturists to feel like your best self, regulate menstrual cycles, receive fertility support, reduce pain, be seen in all your beautiful complexity and treated that way.
