A Moment in Time

I found myself holding you,
After I nursed you back to sleep.
Holding you tenderly as I moved gently,
Side to side.
Your cheek softly landing on my chest,
As I cupped your head and hummed in your ear,
Swaying side to side.
Holding you effortlessly with my other,
Feeling you melt into my chest,
One shared ecosystem,
For this moment in time.
Your precious tiny body, a literal extension of mine.
Grown from scratch, made from my insides out. Melting effortless back, for this moment in time.

One day I will look at you,
filled with bones and muscles,
hairs and scars,
energy fields of lessons, loves, life.
Cherishing this fleeting moment where you and I remember,
we started as one.

You are mine and I am yours.

For this precious moment in time 🤍

If you’re reading this, I’ll assume you may be postpartum, too, and daaaaymn. This is not for the weak. My baby is 9 months old and I still feel like I’m treading water. As each day brings a different rhythm of feeding, sleeping, growing, I continue to show up in ways I didn’t know I had in me. Stretching and widening, digging deep for another ounce to give when I’ve already gone past what I ever thought capable. Postpartum is tremendous. A mind f*ck. The hardest, most beautiful, messiest, joyous, exhausting, amazing, impossible to explain, head over heals in love, experience.

THIS IS HARD. AND BEAUTIFUL. AND MIND BENDING. And I feel like the only people I can talk to is other pp moms.

So I figured it made sense to hold a circle.

The easiest type you can imagine.
Roll in, we will be done in an hour.
We will breathe, we will share with a talking piece, we will trade tips, drink tea, and swap info if it feels right.

The intention: To create space to process and reset.

Join us for a POWERFUL container to harness the energy of the Lunar Eclipse. For this special event, we are SO excited to host breathwork practitioners Brenda Rodriguez (certified therapist and shaman) and Faye Stottrup from the Santa Cruz area, who have been sharing the powerful work of breathwork for the last year.

In this 3 hour container, guests will receive:

• Opening Circle
• Guided Breathwork around the theme of releasing
• Closing Circle
• Light Snacks
• Varied seating: Backjack chairs in circle & laying down on yoga mats
• Follow up virtual circle on Wednesday 9/18 (optional)

Hosted at , this is a stunning, open venue with high ceilings and calming vibes, perfect for this deep, transformative work.

Breathwork is a powerful tool to transform and “unstick” anything that is weighing us down. This particular breathwork is not meant to just calm and relax our nervous systems, it’s designed to help us dig deep and step into big transformations. This breathwork offers healing on a cellular level, to sooth heavy energy from our own lifetimes, and those before us.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is a powerful energetic portal giving us the opportunity to deeply transform and heal at quantum speed. This is a chance to restore karmic patterns and release beliefs, shame, pain, traumas, and self doubt so we can make space for new miracles to enter our lives.

With these forces combined, we can guarantee deep, transformative healing and shifts from this breathwork circle experience.
