πŸ‘‰πŸΎRDL (Romanian Deadlift)is glute hamstrings is a primary mover- secondary as a "stabilizer" is your back. Aka work that ASS more to do this right .

Main tip:
You must initiate by βœ…HINGING at the hips - NOT❌just leaning forward with your back -that s**t is wrong-βŒπŸ˜› & your back won't be happy.

Cyclists-
If you cannot Hinge - you can't find a solid power position on the bike, you can't attack, that's your power for sports to explode thru your hips!

Most people "fear" Deadies cuz they just have never been taught how to do them properly!

Deadlifts are πŸ’― safe for low back- in fact they help strengthen them...

If you do them correctly!

DUDES & TIGHT HIPS- would it kill u to stretch for 4 mins?!πŸ˜‚πŸ‘‡πŸ½

Dudes are built with less limited mobility in the hips (hello childbirth)

Athletes in general= more strength more muscle= also tighter hips.

PT tip- tight hips drive stress up the chain or down- that's either pi**ed off lower back, or knees sooner or later....

Nutritions tips- SAVE this:

🎯 pre ride run-
Carbs goals :
approx 30-90+ grams carbs for higher intensities per hour!

🎯 Lifting sessions
lower carbs needs -can be 30g if harder lifting or longer than 90mins.
Yes lifting u need carbs for fuel as well !!!

🎯 Post ride /run /lift-
4:2 fuel up with both carbs and protein ratios!

🎯 Daily Protein goals
20-40g per meals.(I am for 4-5 per day!)
