Nursing Services

We provide professional nursing services to assist patients with education and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and congestive heart failure. Nurses can also assist with medication management, routine foot care, as well as following up with their physicians. Personal Support Specialists

Maine-ly Elder Care’s highly regarded and certified personal support staff assist seniors with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, housekeeping and transportation to appointments. Our PSS services assist elder individuals to remain independent in their homes. Christian Caregivers

Thursday Tip of the day:
Communicating with a loved one that has Alzheimer's or dementia can be challenging. Here are a few tips to help when caring for someone with Alzheimer's or dementia:
-Avoid multitasking- to keep distractions to a minimum
-Keep it simple-speak slowly and ask yes or no questions
-Don't argue- patients with dementia or Alzheimer's cannot control what they are saying, correcting or arguing is not helpful.
-Tone matters- even though they may have trouble processing, anger and irritation will still register. Stay patient.
