"My acne is affecting my mental health."
As a visible skin condition, acne can have a large impact on confidence and self-worth. If you find yourself letting your acne have any control of your self-worth, talk to someone.
Make sure you're keeping an open dialogue with a close friend or family member and go the extra lengths to treat your skin.
First, go to a dermatologist. Hear what they have to say. With their expertise, you'll be able to make smarter decisions when choosing your skincare products.
Next, once you have your skincare plan. Stick to it. Don't lose determination if it's not working after the first few days. New skincare treatments need at least two weeks before you can really see how it will work for you.
Lastly, while you're sticking to your skincare routine, make sure to keep a healthy lifestyle. This means drinking the right amount of water, making smart dietary choices, and keeping stress levels low.
If you don't feel comfortable speaking to someone in your circle, you can always send us an email and we will be here to help.
