⭐We’re proud to recognize Christian Aguirre, HIV Program Manager at LifeLong Medical Care, for his leadership and impact in the community. Christian recently co-hosted the second Latidos Conference in partnership with the San Francisco Department of Public Health — a powerful gathering focused on advancing equity for Latinx communities affected by HIV. This year’s theme, “Fronteras Invisibles,” explored the cultural, linguistic, and social barriers that limit access to care, especially for unhoused, and uninsured individuals living with HIV.
“Seeing our community come together in these challenging times was a breath of fresh air. Each presenter and panelist offered powerful and inspirational lessons on how to continue showing up for our Latinx and HIV communities,” Christian shared.
🤝The conference welcomed an inclusive group of attendees, including Case Managers, Community Health Workers, Providers, Program Managers, Social Workers, and PrEP Navigators, all united by a shared mission to improve health outcomes and dismantle barriers.
