Chairman Yesh*tela, 82 faces federal charges after a lifetime of organizing dedicated to the liberation for Africa and African people everywhere. Penny Hess, 77, and Jesse Nevel, 33, two white people working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party also face federal charges after organizing for decades in the white community for solidarity and reparations to the black community. The “Uhuru 3” have been indicted under bogus charges of being unregistered “foreign agents” allegedly under the “malign influence” of the Russian government. The trial starts September 3rd. I'm building a project to overturn the isolation experienced by the African community, where colonial conditions impact our people on multiple levels. Seeking help, someone to talk to is unfortunately deemed as a weakness. Crochet as Therapy will not only extend the ability for one to learn Crochet, but it will allow for a dialog amongst Africans ourselves. With the statistics of untimely deaths from stress, heart attacks, strokes, etc., we must be able to have a voice, have a gathering of our peers to bring new strength to our people. Having crochet sessions that relieves stress and allows you to get things off your chest is the best medicine!

Look for this to start the first week of January 2024!
