👋 It's me-Julie.

I rarely pop in here (and I really don't love taking photos of myself) but I just got a cute haircut so here I am. Totally unedited-no makeup-PIE, pores, wrinkles and all. I will be 50 next year and acne doesn't care about age.

I've been an esthetician for 21 years and focused on acne for 19. I started acne specialists in 2012 with a mission to help people feel good in their skin-because I know what it's like to struggle. I started breaking out at 13 and the pimples started coming and they don't stop coming. 😩 But we can help you manage it!

I am halfway through my cosmetic chemistry 🧪 program and loving every minute learning about ingredients, formulas and all the science.

If your skin immediately burns after putting on a moisturizer, then you could be experiencing extremely dry skin and a compromised barrier. We recommend taking a break from your actives for one to two days and cleanse, tone and moisturize until it's healed. You can also do a thin layer of Vaseline.
