Always glad to see evidence-based support for acupuncture’s role in treating low back pain - the most common musculoskeletal complaint. There are SO many non-surgical strategies for healing!

The WHO has released a 244-page document that “provides evidence-based recommendations on nonsurgical interventions for chronic primary LBP in adults” that will improve outcomes.
✅Acupuncture is among the interventions the guideline recommends for all adults.
✅NSAIDs continue to be the only recommended pharmacotherapy.
✅Exercise, massage and spinal manipulation are also recommended.

I feel you. Let's CUP it OUT.

Cupping is an effective method of myofascial decompression which affects soft tissue to be more supple, hydrated, and thus less painful.
There are actually many ways to use cups beyond what is commonly known.

Current set-up: floor space to move & stretch while keeping my favorite subject matter close by.
Within all the unknowns of this time, one thing that helps me focus and offers a sense of control (!) is immersing myself in study. Especially in the realm of Chinese Herbal Medicine. Sure, we’ve never seen a pandemic like this before in our short lifetimes, but the ancient scholars of China definitely have!
Multiple case studies are illuminating what we’ve known for so long: Chinese Herbal Medicine is an extremely effective and potent treatment for viral infections, especially when utilized in the early stages.
