Hi youth + community! 👋🏽👋🏾👋🏿 On Monday, we stood proudly at the City of Oakland press conference as our founder + CEO, Dr. Aisha Mays .aisha.m officially announced and launched our community mobile health initiative. This powerful moment marked a major step forward as we take health services directly to the heart of the s*x trafficking scene. We took to Internaltional bold to meet young people exactly where they are with free medical services navigation, support, and care.

The energy, the unity, and the commitment in the room made it clear: this work matters, and it’s already making an impact. 💪🏽🩺

Huge thank you and special shoutout to Council Member Charlene Wong and Oakland’s mayor Barbara Lee for their continued advocacy, leadership, and unwavering support of our mission. We’re just getting started, Oakland. 💙

This is the pure power of COMMUNITY! 🌟 We are so deeply grateful to District 2 Councilmember Charlene Wong for her meaningful support of Dream Youth Clinic as we continue to expand what it means to truly bring trauma-informed healthcare to young people in our community.

In conversation with Dr. Aisha Mays, we celebrate the launch of our first-of-its-kind community health mobilization initiative; bringing care directly to International Boulevard and addressing inequities experienced by youth impacted directly and indirectly by trafficking.

This work is rooted in partnership, compassion, and showing up for young people where they are. 💛

Dream Youth Clinic will be on 15th and International on Tuesdays and Fridays to help serve our community right where they are. Come see us youth! 🫂

During National Human Trafficking Prevention Awareness Month, Dream Youth Clinic is meeting youth where they are to reach those impacted by trafficking at all levels, from prevention to support. We’re not waiting—we’re going directly into OUSD schools to help support and educate our youth on all things trafficking and how to stage informed and empowered! ✅ With this work, also comes the REVOLUTIONARY launch of the community’s FIRST ever Community Health Mobilization powered by Dream Youth Clinic, uniting care, education, and resources to create safer pathways for youth and families. 🫂 Access saves lives.
