Taking a moment to let it all sink in! 11 years! Wow! What a privilege to do what I love and love who I do it with!

No better way to celebrate 11 years of blessings than by getting together to help and feed our hungry neighbors. I'm always grateful to the generosity of spirit displayed by the Hot Spot Family!

And to follow it up with this amazing fated opening at Hot Spot Yoga Oakland Temescal. We have been waiting patiently since 2021 for this space to open up for us. When it did we were open and ready.

What a celebration it was- hot spot past present and future came to support and show out: from Paula Junn, one of our first members, to my daughters father (those in the big d club know how hard this can be and what progress looks like), to our teachers from the past who have become family, to our members who have become family, and to the folks who popped in to introduce themselves (the homies from temple tattoo and Daytrip to the dude who jumped in our picture on his way to work because he liked our energy- thank you! I love you!

We are thrilled to welcome her to the Hot Spot family!💛She teaches a strong, alignment-based flow designed to cultivate greater awareness of breath, body, and mind. Her classes practice body movement (expect to sweat), expansive breathing, and mind focus.
She also offers hands-on assists and supports students in deepening their practice. Ann Thu is grateful and draws inspiration from her many teachers, especially those in the Jivamukti Yoga lineage.
She believes yoga is for every body, and through it she hopes to plant peace within so we can shape the world around us.🌱
