Today is Children’s Grief Awareness Day 💙🦋
At Burket-Truby Funeral Home, Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc., we pause to honor a tender truth: children grieve just as deeply as adults, even when their grief looks different.
A child’s world can change in an instant after a loss. Their questions, their memories, their silence, and their need for reassurance all matter. Today, and every day, we stand with the young hearts within our community who are navigating loss.

• Wear blue in support of grieving children
• Create gentle opportunities for children to talk about their feelings
• Share stories and memories that help them feel connected
• Check in on a child or teen who may be struggling
