Happy Sunday! I'm planning to return to the office this week. I'm still very sore, bruised and moving a little slow but feeling better everyday. I will be working half days with a limited number of appointments available. Looking forward to getting back to normal!

Happy Sunday praise report!
I'm six days post op for hip replacement. I'm happy to say, I'm walking unassisted, getting deep restorative sleep (finally) and have minimal pain. My return to work plan is still the same. I'll be out of the office next week and return to 1/2 days after.
I'm so grateful to all of you for your love and support. I'm ready to come back stronger than ever.

Quick update: I was in and out of the surgery center in less than 4 hours this morning. Dr. DeCook said everything went perfectly. Feeling minimal pain today but I know that may change as the nerve block wears off.

Thank you all for the sweet cards, puzzle books, flowers and love! I'm looking forward to getting back to crackin' without pain! See you soon.

I've decided to start my "time off" a little early after a tumble this morning. I'm fine but realized I'm doing more harm to myself and less good for you by trying to push through until my surgery date.

Thank you all for being so supportive and understanding. I really appreciate all the well wishes, flowers, books and hugs you've all been giving me. I'm looking forward to a brand new hip and coming back stronger and ready to serve all my patients!
Dr. Valerie Sylverster at Better Health Chiropractic has offered to take care of anyone in need until I return. Amy has her contact information.

I’ve actually resorted to dinner in a bag! Actually, this seafood boil from Aldi is just what the doctor ordered tonight. Quick, easy and delicious. Happy Friday eve!

Since the cat is out of the bag, I'll go ahead and make an official announcement.

I'm scheduled to have complete hip replacement surgery in early August. Leading up to that, I am limiting the number of patients I'm seeing daily. Please call to make an appointment as "walk ins" may not be accommodated. Patients on a scheduled treatment plan are priority. Same day appointments may not be accommodated.

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience. My patients health and comfort are very important to me and I'm not happy about having to make these changes but they are necessary.

I appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.
