My lineage is as follows:

Benjamin Franklin Posey
Eliza Elizabeth Berryhill
They are first cousins when the Creek tribal leaders discovered they were
Getting married they were told no or leave the clan.
So they left and arrived in Texas Freestone county near what is known as Fairfield, Texas. Eliza is buried with many of their children. In a small community known has Horn hill. The town is not standing any longer. Benjamin moved back to Oklahoma I belive with other children. He is buried in Wagoner Oklahoma which is located in the Creek Nations.
The Posey family became very prosperous in Texas and became cattle rancher’s and farmers. Till this day they are still in the area.
They have served in many community groups and were school teachers.
Benjamin and Eliza Berryhill Posey are my third great parents .
