Hospital Week is in full swing at Decatur Health, and we’re celebrating the incredible people who bring “Small Town, Big Care” to life every single day. This week is all about recognizing our team, having fun together, and showing appreciation for the work they do for our patients and our community.

Yesterday, our staff showed up in their Small Town, Big Care shirts, and the pride was real. We offered relaxing Mak’s Massage chair massages, and gathered for a big Team Photo in the hospital lobby. It was a great day to celebrate the people who make DH feel like family.

Today is Teamwork Makes It Work Day! Departments coordinated matching outfits, and the creativity did not disappoint. Staff enjoyed delicious nachos from Donovan’s Smoke Shack & BBQ, and supported our Blood Drive by donating or volunteering. It was another reminder that teamwork truly is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re proud of this team — their dedication, compassion, and commitment to our community. Enjoy a look at how we’re celebrating Hospital Week here at DH!
