What an unforgettable evening at Decatur Health!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night's Decades of Dedication event as we celebrated five extraordinary women whose combined 203 years of service have left a lasting legacy on our hospital and community.

Your presence, kind words, and warm smiles made the night truly special. It was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and compassion these women have poured into their work over the years.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of a community that shows up with such love and appreciation.

Here’s to honoring the past—and continuing the tradition of excellence at Decatur Health!

🔹 Radiologic Technologist (Full-Time, 0.9 FTE) Must be ARRT certified, Kansas State LRT licensed, and a graduate of an accredited program. Rotating on-call schedule.
🔹 Chief Nursing Officer (Full-Time, Exempt) Lead our nursing and clinical operations as part of our executive team. BSN required (or commitment to obtain), Kansas RN license required.
🔹 Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) (Full-Time, Flexible Schedule) Provide ER coverage, inpatient care, and outpatient clinic support. Must be board-certified with Kansas licensure (or eligibility). Emergency/inpatient experience preferred.
🔹 Physical Therapist Assistant (Full-Time, 1.0 FTE) Work across inpatient and outpatient settings. Must hold a Kansas PTA license and an associate’s degree from an accredited program.
🔹 Plant Operations Technician (Full-Time, 1.0 FTE) Maintain building systems and grounds. Includes snow removal, lawn care, and on-call rotation.
🔹 Patient Care Technician (PCT)
• Night Shift – Full-Time (0.9 FTE)
• Night Shift – Part-Time (0.6 FTE)
High school diploma required. CNA registry preferred. Shifts run 6 PM–6 AM with weekend/holiday rotation.

👏 A big thank you to our amazing nursing staff for their hard work on this project!
Emergency Department Transfer Communication (EDTC) — making sure that when a patient needs to be transferred to another hospital, all critical information is shared quickly and clearly.

This is especially important in rural areas like ours, where safe and timely transfers can make a life-saving difference. 💙
