Alpha Care provides daily activities that include, but are not limited to; community cleanup, gardening, music, movies, and crafts, socializing with friends, exercising, cultural trips and independent living skills. Our activities are always educational and stimulate self- awareness, encourage socialization while providing the physical, rehabilitative, and social services that improve an individual’s level of independence. Our activities are chosen by the individuals, they share their interests and make suggestions and we make it happen!

Today was a blast! We started our morning with practicing public speaking- Dignity talked about his family farm, Margie gave a personal speech, and Mike played his harmonica for everyone! Kevin, Linda, Christal, Juliette, Lizbet, and Bryan all went to Oberlin Library for a resume development program this morning as well. Everyone enjoyed our pizza party this afternoon followed by a nice walk for some fresh air and exercise outside! 🌞
Yesterday we enjoyed practicing our coordination with “fishing!” We also got an arm workout in yesterday with a great exercise lesson!
