He is employed by Allen Parish Sheriff's office and continuing his Bachelor's degree through Columbia Southern University. John is the grandson of Brighton Bridge Hospice employee, Sheila Jones.

Today is The National Day of Prayer. This day was established in 1952 to be recognized on the first Thursday of the month of May. A day to pause, seek, reflect, and praise God. A day to unite together as One Nation Under God.

This scripture this year is:
I Chronicles 16:24 NKJV
"Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples."

So please join us today in praying for our community, our nation, and the world. May we all hold in our hearts the love of Christ. May we spread it wherever we go. And most of all- may we continue to strive to be One Nation Under God!
