With the stressors of the holiday season increased muscle tension can occur.

Did you know that clenching your jaw, grinding your teeth tense up your pelvic floor muscles?

These two are connected through early development of the embryo, dural tubing surrounding the spinal cord, and also via fascial connections.

Stress and daily holding patterns in the jaw can tension the fascial connection and create increased tension of the pelvic floor muscles.
