Graston Technique is a specialized soft tissue modality focused on fascial release. It requires advanced training to properly learn the specific stroke patterns, as well as how to adjust angles based on tissue type—whether working with muscle, tendon, or other connective structures.
The instruments themselves are only available as a full set (approximately $2,400) and can be purchased only after completing formal training, as the methodology and protocols are proprietary.
This is a unique skill I’m proud to offer my clients. My goal moving forward is to develop a course that teaches therapists how to effectively use instrument-assisted techniques without excessive force or tissue breakdown, emphasizing precision, safety, and clinical reasoning.
If you are seeking a provider for Graston Technique, it’s important to ensure your therapist is properly trained and certified, as this demonstrates competency and adherence to established standards.
