Our therapist has written a book to be released on May 1st on Amazon. He continues to provide the medical massage treatments and wanted to share some of his self discovery insight beyond one on one conversation. He wrote the book to inspire others to uncover their own truths, escape the status quo and dive deeper into self understanding. Your therapist Derrick Henderson Board Certified LMT.
He's got over 10 years experience with all kinds of muscular skeletal issues. Is happy to explain what he is doing and why. So don't deal with the pain do something about it to calm or make it go away and schedule your session.
He also is an in network provider working with the VA. So if your a veteran and get a referral for Massage therapy you can select him as your provider.

Insurance and Massage Therapy primarily Florida. Insurance will only pay if you have a valid doctor's referral where it is medically necessary. But even then they may require it be done under a physical therapist license versus a massage therapy license. Currently I am a provider for the VA thru the community care network. This currently has been the only provider I am contracted with and that is thru Optum. On my website there is a link for insurance verification just know if you don't have a DR's referral your insurance will not cover any services. If you do have one then you can verify your coverage by submitting the necessary information and after information is verified I will reach out with what we can do or if you need another provider.
