It is with a heavy heart that we share an important update.
Dr. Anderson and I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Stephens Clinic of Chiropractic on Thursday, April 2.
This practice has been so much more than a business to me. My late husband, Gary, and I started it together 24 years ago when we were newly married. Some of my sweetest memories are from those early days—bringing my young children to the office and caring for patients while wearing them in a baby backpack.
Gary was not only deeply committed to his patients, but also to his fellow chiropractors. He was a true pillar in the community—mentoring others, encouraging them, and never viewing them as competition, but as friends. I was recently told by one of his colleagues that he may not have kept his own practice open if it hadn’t been for Gary’s support. That is the kind of man Gary was, and I am so proud of the legacy he leaves behind.
Over the past two years, I have fought hard to continue Gary’s legacy through this clinic. This decision has not come easily, but ultimately, it is no longer financially sustainable. While I wish circumstances had been different, I trust that God has a plan for each of us—for myself, for my children, for Dr. Anderson, Tonya and for Ashley.
We are deeply grateful for our patients and this community. It has been an honor and a privilege to care for you and your families over the years. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to be part of your lives.
With sincere gratitude,
Angela
