I didn’t party the night before… but I woke up feeling like I got hit by a Mack truck.

Life got heavy.

My dad had a stroke, and everything changed overnight.

As a former ER nurse, I recognized the signs immediately — pale, sweaty, couldn’t get up, and a headache that wasn’t normal.

One minute I was his daughter, the next I was back in nurse mode — watching monitors, calling nurses when his breathing changed, making sure nothing got missed.

Between hospital visits, phone calls, and trying to keep life together, my nervous system was completely fried.

Sleep? Inconsistent.

Energy? Nonexistent.

My face looked like stress had taken up permanent residence.

And as if that wasn’t enough, perimenopause decided to show up — the hormonal rollercoaster, the fatigue, the brain fog.

I eat clean. I move my body. I take quality supplements.
But I still hit the wall.

Honestly, I almost didn’t try it that day… but thank God I did.

I didn’t party the night before… but I woke up feeling like I got hit by a Mack truck.

Two weeks ago, my dad had a stroke. As a former ER nurse, I recognized the signs — pale, sweaty, couldn’t get up, and a headache that wasn’t normal.

ER

Official stroke diagnosis.

Total emotional whiplash.

I was by his side, calling nurses when his breathing changed, making sure nothing got missed.

My nervous system was shot.
