💙 A Sweet Surprise and a New Friendship💙

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting a wonderful resident at The Landing at Augusta Woods Senior Living during their health fair. This friendly and talkative lady stopped by our table to say hello and ended up making our whole day!

She shared that she was a Lab Technician for 30 years in Caracas, Venezuela, working in one of the city’s main hospitals. What a beautiful coincidence as our very own PCR Supervisor is also from Venezuela!

This sweet resident not only shared her story with Yamel, our account executive, but she became her assistant for the day! From checking on supplies and learning our lab process to sitting in on meetings with the Director of Nursing, Memory Care Nurse, and Activities Director, she did it all with pride and joy. We even made time to visit the chickens at Memory Care.

Yamel offered her to be our Honorary Account Executive making sure all supplies and services are in order, which she happily accepted! We can't wait to see her again soon! 🫶🏼✨
