Are you affected by chronic back or neck pain?
People with chronic back and neck pain who have not gained sufficient relief from surgery or medication may respond to an implanted device known as a spinal cord stimulator, or SCS. Controlled by the patient using a wireless remote, an SCS implant uses a mild electrical current to help calm the pain signals created by damaged or overactive nerves. To find out more about SCS, read our article.

Do you have severe facial pain? It may be trigeminal neuralgia.
Trigeminal neuralgia, or TN, is an often-serious disease affecting a major nerve in the face. TN can cause sudden and severe stabbing pain in the face or jaw. Treatment depends on first getting an accurate diagnosis and then the right medication – and, when medication isn’t enough, your ONC professional can explain other treatments designed specifically to address this condition. For more on TN, read our article: https://goo.gl/NdmDJ4
