Today, we proudly celebrate Dr. Srinivasa Murthy for 33 years of exceptional dedication to patient care and our medical community!🩺

Dr. Murthy has served Ocala across hospitals, his private practice, and skilled nursing facilities, making a lasting impact with compassionate care. As Medical Director at Timber Ridge Center for Rehabilitation and Healing and for Ocala cluster homes since 1993, he supports patients of all ages, including those with intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy.

Passionate about education, he mentors future physicians as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UCF, shaping the next generation of primary care doctors. As Chairman of a Physician ACO since 2015, he leads a network of physicians focused on high-quality, cost-effective care for Medicare beneficiaries.

Dr. Murthy lives by the belief: Service to humanity is service to God.

Our leadership teams and marketing team had the opportunity to meet with John Mosses, Chief Strategy Officer, and Rymon Reyes, Director of Post Acute Care with CardioRenal Vision.

Together, the group discussed the importance of taking proactive steps to ensure continuity of care within the building and prevent hospital readmissions - an essential part of providing the highest quality care for our residents.

This month, we’re honored to highlight a meaningful story that reflects the dedication and heart of our Social Services team.

Christine Damico was admitted to our facility in need of rehabilitation and continued support. As her needs evolved, it became clear that she would benefit from ongoing care in a supportive environment.

Under the leadership of our Social Services Director, Christina Chisari, our team stepped in— advocating every step of the way. They worked tirelessly to explore multiple placement options, navigating challenges and continuing to seek the best possible outcome for Christine.

Our Social Services team initiated Medicaid and guardianship services to ensure she would have the coverage and support she needed. Once Medicaid was approved, referrals were reopened, and placement was successfully secured in an assisted living facility where she can continue to thrive.

In addition, our team connected her with essential community resources, including home health services and ongoing support systems to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

This is what advocacy looks like. This is what compassion in action looks like.
