Pearl June Sims 72 , passed away January 9, 2022 in Ocala, Florida. She was born November 7, 1949 in Sanford Florida to Mabel and Henry Dees.
She is preceded in death by her father Henry Dees, her mother Mabel Dees, Brothers Jimmy Dees and Walter Dees.
She is survived by her son Robert Sims (Gina), Daughter Kimberlie Sims (Sean), three grandsons Demetri, Trey and Drue as well as two great granddaughters Bryleigh and Ryleigh Sims,as brother Wesley Dees (Siegrid) and sister Jeanette Jessup (Frank), and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 15th at 3:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home Chapel.

MOSLEY, O.B.
Summerfield - O.B. Mosley, 85, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on the Lord's Day, September 6, 2020. He was born August 27, 1935, in Lexington, AL, to the late Odis Mosley and Bertha Shelton Mosley. He moved here from Alabama, in 1955. He retired from Certified Grocers of Ocala, where he was Director of Building and Grounds Maintenance. O.B. loved to hunt, fish, sing gospel music, and spend time with his family. His sister said he was always the upbeat one and kept everyone entertained.

He is preceded in death by his first wife of 57 years, Millinee Hulsey Mosley; his parents; three brothers: Herman, Kineleus, and Willard; one sister Estelle Newton.

He is survived by his second wife, Willie White Mosley; sons, Keith Mosley (Debbie), Mark Mosley (Beverly); daughter, Lydia Willard (Grady); step-sons, Stan White (Helene), Mark White (Margaret); brother, T.W. Mosley; sisters, Westelle McGraw, Gwendolyn Long, and Patricia Balentine; grandchildren, Roy and Jason Willard, Julie Townsend, Melissa Thompson, Kristin Estes, Shelly Carver, and Michele Milburn; step-grandchildren; Tim White, Brian White, Amanda Ceremelli, Stephanie Rider, and Hunter White; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren and countless other nieces, nephews, friends, and family who were touched by his life. O.B. served God by teaching and preaching the gospel and living his life as a godly example. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Belleview, Florida.

Paul Aaron Status: Tim, Paul's son sent me this: my Mom got out of the rehab facility on Friday and we are going to proceed with my Dad’s funeral on Friday. We will have a mass at Blessed Trinity starting at 9:30am. If you could let some of the old guys still around know that would be great.

AJ Steen, 93, Ocala, FL, passed away November 5, 2018 in Hampton, VA alongside daughter & family on phone. AJ resided in Ocala, FL for past 47 years with wife Beth, who passed in VA 2016. AJ was born July of 1925 in Arkansas to Aubio and Nellie Steen.
Surviving sibling Betty Sue Hale; preceded by siblings Waneta Anderson, Harold Steen, Jerry Steen, and Judith Steinberger.
AJ served in Merchant Marines 1944-45, & Army 1945-47. He graduated from Radio & Television School, & while in Kansas City, MO, met Martha Beth Bacus. Married in August 1948, & resided in Michigan, later having two children. Moved to & resided in FL 1970-2018.
Survived by daughter Kim Dunaway (husband Craig) VA; son Gary Steen (wife Janet); Grandchildren Paula Steen (Stephanie) and Greg Steen (Heather) All FL; Craig Dunaway's children Chris & Britt, and Carrie, VA; Great grandchildren Nicholas & Micah; Courtney, Danielle, and Amanda, Heather's children Kirsten, Samantha, and Ben; all FL.
AJ was a Mason 32nd degree, Scottish Rite, York Rite, & Shriner.
He worked for Super Foods in MI and as a non-food & general merchandiser supervisor for Certified Grocers of FL, Inc. He continued working after retiring there, as an independent merchandiser.
AJ always stayed active & enjoyed numerous activities throughout his life.
Cherished many with wife, Beth, making celebrations fun & memorable, dancing, yard work/gardening and venturing out to Ocala & Marion County events.
He is & always will be incredibly loved & missed.
AJ is rejoicing now with God, family, and his beloved wife, Beth, dancing forever together.

Aleta Wessner May 25th, 1931-November 4th 2018 Aleta Wessner 87 of Ocala passed away in hospice care. Born in Jacksonville Florida, she was the only child of Clinton and Sarah Hamby. Mary V. Darr, 89, a reverent daughter of our Heavenly Father, who devoted her life to the well-being and welfare of her family, was reunited with her husband and son on February 8, 2017.

Born on January 26, 1928 in Mayport, she was the daughter of Anna C. (Reinsel) and Frank Recchio.

She was raised by her loving grandparents, Harry and Florence Reinsel.

She graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School in 1946.

In March 1947, in Baltimore, MD, she married Hilton L. Darr who preceded her in death in 2010.

Mary worked as a purchasing secretary for Certified Groceries in Florida, then for R&H Trucking in Clarion, J.C. Penney in Clarion, and Sylvania in Brookville. She also enjoyed doing product demonstrations for customers at Wal-Mart and K-Mart.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Clarion Senior Center where she would look forward to playing bingo and the companionship of luncheons and other activities. She also enjoyed gardening and taking time to be with her family and taking care of them.

Mary is survived by three children, a son Hilton James Darr, of Shippenville, Laura Ann Sherbine, of Clarion, and David R. Darr and wife, Debbie,, of Russellville, AR; four grandchildren, Tracy Shaw, Tonia Wheeler and husband Rod, Holly Wilcox and husband Jerry, and Benjamin J. Darr; along with nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family of friends and relatives.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her grand-parents; her husband; a son, Michael Darr; a son-in-law, David Sherbine; and a daughter-in-law, Debra Darr; and her siblings. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street, Clarion, where the family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday.

A Christian Wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 715 Main Street, Clarion, with Father Monty Sayers officiating.

Entombment will be in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
