35 years ago today, I opened the doors of Ocala Rehabilitation Associates, PA for patient care.

Thankfully, I have been blessed with a lot of very talented, dedicated, and loyal staff that have assisted me in the treatment of over 18,000+ patients & over 600,000 treatment visits. I am very thankful for the continued opportunity to provide quality physical therapy care to the residents of Ocala/Marion County. I also look forward to many more years as well! Thank you for the wonderful community support shown to me & Ocala Rehabilitation Associates, PA and for allowing me the opportunity to practice the profession that I LOVE!!!

Very excited to spread some incredible news! Florida Senate bill 2025 HB 447 ‘Disability History & Awareness Instruction’ ,also known as the “Evin B. Hartsell Act” was enacted into Florida law today! This wonderful bill will guide Florida education curriculum regarding the required inclusion of disability awareness for grades K -12! Evin’s bill was unanimously passed by the Florida House last week & unanimously passed by the Florida Senate today enshrining it into Florida law! This was such a wonderful testament to Evin’s legacy! The fact that this bill was enacted today is extra special to his parents, siblings and the rest of our family because today is also the seventh anniversary of Evin’s passing. Evin’s mother Melisa, father Scott and the Evin B. Hartsell foundation worked so hard for this accomplishment, and I know Evin would be so proud! As Evin would say “be the change, say I will”…they did! ❤️

Dr. Hartsell & Ocala Rehabilitation Associates, PA thoroughly enjoyed attending the 6th Annual ‘Soldiers Freedom Outdoors’ appreciation dinner/auction at WEC Saturday evening!
Dr. Hartsell was also excited & incredibly proud that her brother Maj. General “Hammer” Hartsell, USMC (ret.) was the honored guest speaker for the event!
His never ending support of veterans & their mental & physical health needs fit like a glove with this great organization’s mission & purpose! What a fun & inspiring evening of dinner, personal testimonies, entertainment, live & silent auctions! It was so awesome to see our incredible community’s support for our veterans & this awesome veteran assistance organization!

Btw, the ‘352’ area code includes: Marion, Lake, Alachua, Hernando, Pasco, Citrus, Sumter, Clay, Levy, & Dixie counties!!!! We are so thankful for the support of our community that made this honor possible! Thank you Ocala/Marion County! 😁🙌🏻🏆🥇

Ocala Rehabilitation Associates, PA was notified today that we won the “Best of the 352” competition again for Physical Therapy/ Rehabilitation Centers! We prevoiuy won Best (first place) in 2021/2022, second place Silver (2022/2023), & now back to #1, “Best of the 352”again for 2023/2024! Thank you Ocala / Marion County for supporting our office! Btw, the “Best of the 352” covers all of the 352 area code ( G’ville, Ocala, Crystal River, Mt Dora & all other cities!counties)! We feel very blessed with this honor & look forward to continuing to serve Marion County / Ocala!!!
