We’re so excited to announce Ambleside High School has brought their program “Silver Belles: Spa Services for Seniors” to our Residence, an intergenerational program fostering connection and care through nails, hair, makeup, massage, and even dachshund puppies!

Feel free to stop by during one of their future visits on March 10th & April 7th at 3:45 PM in the Life Enrichment Room.

Please join us in celebrating Sheena, our Annual Legend of Honor recipient! 🎉

For 13 years, Sheena has been a dedicated member of the Legend Senior Living family, finding her true calling in serving seniors and building meaningful connections.

She treasures the wisdom residents share - like Joanie’s life mantra, “Hakuna Matata” - and lives out one of our Pillars of Practice each day by greeting everyone with a sincere smile.

Her joyful spirit (and love of dancing!) brightens the lives of residents and fellow associates alike, and we are beyond grateful for the heart and dedication she brings to our community every single day. 💙✨

This year, we put a vintage twist on Valentine’s Day by celebrating the last century of music and entertainment instead of hosting a traditional Sweethearts Dance. ❤️✨

Residents and guests chose characters and costumes inspired by their favorite TV shows, movies, music icons, and decades - from The Golden Girls and Mr. Rogers to 70s flower power and more.

A highlight of the evening was Resident Jane dressing as “The Warden,” a meaningful nod to her 35-year career as a women’s prison warden, a role she remains deeply passionate about.

With music spanning from Bing Crosby to Bruno Mars - two songs from every decade - we danced the night away and may have just started a brand-new annual tradition!

On Valentine’s Day, everyone was invited to our Sweetheart Conversation Social, where we celebrated love and cherished memories over lemonade and chocolate-covered pretzels. 💕

Each table featured a vase filled with conversation starters about romance, dating, marriage, and childhood memories, and guests took turns reading questions and sharing their heartfelt stories.

We smiled at timeless advice like “Pick the right person" and loved hearing about Alice’s 70-plus years of marriage and how Sally met her husband, Jack, as childhood friends.

It was a beautiful afternoon filled with laughter and wisdom, and we’re so grateful to Professional Realty of Ocala for sponsoring such a wonderful Valentine’s celebration for Reflections.

We can’t believe it’s already been over a month since we rang in 2026! ✨

Here’s a little recap: residents, friends, and families gathered to enjoy a seared ribeye roast in au jus, raised their flutes for a toast, and celebrated as balloons fell and horns blew. 🎉

Music by Lou had everyone singing along and dancing, and the excitement in the room sparkled brighter than any shimmer or shine.

Time is flying, but the memories we made together and the plans ahead for 2026 are what we’re most excited about! 🥂

Afterwards, each person has the opportunity to share a favorite tradition or memory from their past.

Last Friday we wore our ‘ugliest’ Christmas sweaters and ended our week with live music by Armando.

During the program, we voted through audience applause on the best ugly sweater!

Louise ended up winning the audience’s vote with her tropical-style holiday sweater! Congrats, Louise!
