Give 4 Marion starts TOMORROW! Join the Fight Against Online Exploitation!

Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection, the Marion County Sheriff's Office and Ocala Police Department have established an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) local partnership to take proactive steps to combat and respond to the skyrocketing number of internet crimes against Marion County children and teens.

This collaborative effort works to protect Marion County youth by expanding education and training for law enforcement, parents, educators, and youth, while also supporting investigations and victim services.

Funds raised during Kimberly’s Center’s Give4Marion campaign will directly support the ICAC partnership through:

-Training and support for law enforcement, DCF, and caregivers
-Community education and awareness
-Victim services, including trauma counseling, advocacy and safety planning
-Technology upgrades to strengthen investigations in technology-facilitated abuse cases
-Together, we can help keep Marion County children safe—both in the real world and online

Do you remember back in 2004-2007 there was a show called "To Catch a Predator". This show was hosted by Chris Hansen, who now hosts the show "Takedown" which is broadcasted on TruBlu. He also has a podcast called "Predators I've Caught". Here Chris Hansen sits down with Det. Osthed of the Marion County Sheriff's Office to discuss the current Chat Operations that are happening in our county as well as a message for our community about how we need to protect our children.

🌟 The amazing kids of the Majestic Oaks 4-H Club presented Kimberly’s Center with a check for over $9,000 last night! 🌟

These superstar youth raised the funds through the sale of a steer at the Southeastern Youth Fair and chose to give back in a big way. 💙
